RUSSIA'S defence ministry has temporarily frozen military co-operation with Nato, pending a decision from the Kremlin on long-term ties, Russia's envoy to the alliance was quoted as saying last night.
Nato reduced links with Moscow after the Georgia incursion.

I suppose this is about the minimum Russia could have done. They could, during the war, have bombed the pipeline running through Georgia which would have really hurt the NATO countries.

The space shuttle is already prety much out of it & will be retired in 2010. If America wants to continue manning the International Space Station they now depend on Russia's goodwill to let them hitch.

Henry none of this will stop. no matter who is in power the US needs to run its protection racket to keep the prices of oil high and the weapons industry ticking over.
