FOOTBALL fans across the world yesterday clamoured to get their hands on George Best £5 notes.
Ahead of the anniversary of his death, the Ulster Bank unveiled the first batch of notes bearing the image of the Manchester United, Hibernian and Northern Ireland star.

What a nice idea.

Its surprising that the Government had not thought of this before.

Basically, if you put the face of someone people like on money, rather than the ultimate benefits scrounger, then a considerable percentage of that money will disappear from circulation, and so you can get away with printing a little more without introducing inflationary pressures.
