RUSSIA'S Alexander Morozevich has dashed Fide hopes of presiding over a world title match between the world's two highest rated players with the publication of the new July list.
Morozevich's rating installed the popular Muscovite as the new No 2 ranked player in the world and also his country's new No 1 ahead of Vladimir Kramnik, whose world title match with No 1 Vishy Anand starts in Bonn in October.
