INEOS on pollution charge
INEOS faces environmental charges in relation to an oil spill that threatened the Forth last year.
It is accused of causing or permitting Ondeo Industrial Solutions – a company in charge of the Grangemouth site's water and wastewater infrastructure – to pollute the River Forth with oil via an emergency flume in July and August last year.
The case was continued without plea at Falkirk Sheriff Court yesterday.
