AS HOMER Simpson would say: "D'oh!" This happens almost every year in some form or fashion, but have I prepared myself? Have I heck. I should have made plans, sorted something out, found somewhere to hide, but I haven't and now I'm stuck spending the next three weeks with various bellowing men and Euro 2008.
"It's only every four years!" came the cry when I protested at being abandoned for the rest of the month, but there seems to be so many damned football tournaments, they never seem to go away, and then there's the rugby on top of it all … I don't kno...
