Police arrest 24 in Faslane protest

TWENTY-four protesters were yesterday arrested outside the Faslane nuclear base.
The demonstrators, 11 of whom are thought to be French and the rest British, were held after blocking the entrance. The seven men and 17 women are due to appear in court today.

this is a waste of tax payers money they should be informed that if they enter the base they face being shot or attacked by the guard dogs they know that the base is a secure site and should accept the risks anyway what are the french doing here anyway

#1 this is a waste of tax payers money..?? I think you'll find that trident is a waste of tax payers money..#2...you really think that if they werent policing Faslane they would be on the streets?? I very much doubt it..

since the end of WW2 how many major wars have there been? none. why the bomb thus it has saved millions of lifes just by being there so if you think that it is a waste of money that is up to you but think of the lifes that it has saved
