A VIOLINIST gave a special preview performance in front of Cockenzie Power Station – and was filmed by the South Bank Show.
Tasmin Little will open this year's Three Harbours Arts Festival in East Lothian on May 31 against the backdrop of the power station's twin towers. Last night a selected audience, wearing hard hats and protective clothing, were given an early sample of her Naked Violin project.

This has seen her performing in a range of unusual venues as part of her campaign to bring classical music to a wider audience.

A world class musician performing to a wider public in unusual venues will hopefully enhance the profile of brilliant music, unfortunately perceived by many as elitist.

Good music is there for everybody to enjoy. Well done, Tasmin Little. Great idea. Check out the spelling, Scotsman headline writer, or was it a trick?
