HUNDREDS of fans yesterday queued to catch a glimpse of the stylish stars of Sex and the City, in London for the world premiere of their hotly anticipated film.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon were due to appear on the red carpet in Leicester Square. Some fans had queued from 4am. Fans have waited four years to see the big-screen version of the hugely popular TV series. It will be released in cinemas on 28 May.

The series, which ran from 1999 to 2004, followed the love lives of four professional women in New York. The film sees friends Carrie (Parker), Samantha (Cattrall), Charlotte (Davis) and Miranda (Nixon) continuing to juggle work, relationships and motherhood in their forties.

There has been controversy over the world premiere being held in London.

The film heads to Berlin on 15 May, before finally arriving in New York on 27 May.

Max Douglass, 19, from Knighton, Wales, was one of the first fans to arrive for the premiere. Asked which of the leading ladies was his favourite, he replied: "I love all of them."

Gaga #1,

Just as empty as your meaningless little life where you sit day after day in front of your only friend I would imagine.

Sorry I meant to say sit in front of your keyboard.

In addition It always amazes me how you can constantly slate all and everything on every subject with your boring broken record drivel. For goodness sakes wee man look into yourself and ask the question, “why don’t I have any real mates”?

It’s never too late to try to get a life...

More vacuous hollywood drivel for the chattering middle classes and wannabes.

As Brian Griffen (Family Guy) said "So it's about three hookers and their Mom".

#3. Listen wee man, I know you claim to live in China, but we still have freedom of speech and freedom of expression in this country. What does your life consist of? Kow-towing to a gangster government?

#3 Incidentally, is your life so shallow and meaningless that you're only source of pleasure is to continually mount personal attacks against me? I do really feel sorry for you. If I was a vet I'd put you out of your misery.

Please stop being such a presumptuous and self-satisfied malcontent. It does nothing for your "reputation".

Loved the frock worn by Canadian Kim Cattrall designed by vivienne Westwood and Dame Vivienne certainly was singular in her own creation that she wore and her latest hair colour.

What a very talented lady - a genius in dress design and "style".

THESE are the important things in life.
