Rory's school on look out
THE former school of impressionist Rory Bremner and Scots racing driver Jim Clark is appealing to ex-pupils to join a new association.
Clifton Hall School, near Newbridge, wants to create a former pupils association ahead of its merger with St Serf's in August.
Headmaster Rod Grant said: "A lot of behind-the-scenes work has gone on to create the new school which will have around 230 pupils. However, that work has also included looking at the past and we are now keen to form an association of former pupils.
"We know that former pupils are now living and working in all parts of the globe.
"We'd love to hear from them and it would be our intention to hold regular events."
