AN OBSESSED stalker sent a deluge of gifts, letters and e-mails to Little Britain star David Walliams, a court heard yesterday.
Sarah Bartholomew, 29, of Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, has admitted a four-year campaign of harassment.
In one text message to the star's agent, she said she wanted to touch "his perfect bare flesh" and added: "I need David's baby."
But Highbury Corner Magistrates Court, in London, was told psychiatric experts remained divided as to how she should be dealt with.
District judge Adrian Turner remanded Bartholomew in custody as he adjourned the case for a week for further reports about what kind of hospital treatment she should receive.
The court heard that Bartholomew's behaviour was prolonged and obsessive and "at the upper end of stalking".
But the judge said he was not convinced Bartholomew posed a genuine threat to Walliams's personal safety.
The strongest evidence against Bartholomew was contained in the letters and e-mails she had written and signed, more than 1,000 pages of which she sent to Walliams's solicitor and agent.
