PSYCHIC Uri Geller is to hunt for ancient Egyptian treasure on an island in the Firth of Forth.
The celebrity spoon bender bought The Lamb, just off North Berwick, for £30,000 several months ago and is now reported to be planning an expedition to hunt for treasure he believes was buried by Tutankhamen's half sister, Scota.

He plans to "dowse" the island using a Y-shaped rod to search for buried metal or gems.

Mr Geller believes Scota travelled to the island after being exiled by her pharaoh father and dropped anchor off Lamb Island.

He says she buried her treasure there, and also brought the Stone of Destiny with her. Scotland was named after her when she died, he believes.

Mr Geller says the island, along with neighbouring Craigleith and Fidra, mirror the layout of the pyramids at Giza.

He plans to make his first visit to the island in January.

He said: "I am just so excited and eager to go there myself. It has an amazing aura."

Uri Geller is off his head!

The 18th Dynasty of Egypt's pharaonic line is one of the most researched in the last 100 years. All Geller is doing is turning a myth into a stupid mythtery hunt!

Did you see what I did there??? :D :D

#1 Alfonsa aka Alex Paterson,

How many times do you need to be told the difference between there and their?

BTW:Far be it for me to discriminate against semi-literate trans-genders but, Alfonsa, if the name exists is female, as in Maria,Alfonso is Male as is Mario and Roberta/Roberto Orlanda/Orlando Vittorio/Victoria..........ad nauseum

Treasure hunting is thrill and adventurous. I am as excited and eager for that and awe with the discovery of interesting ancient pharaohs' treasures hidden underground in Egypt.

Never mind that. He's still to learn the rule about putting a space after every comma...I've been trying to teach him that one for years.

Which reminds me. Where is our old friend Paul Voltaire these days?
