Bo Derek saddles up for Arnie

FILM star Bo Derek has been appointed by California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to a state commission overseeing horse racing.
The 51-year-old actress will join the California Horse Racing Board. Derek is an animal rights activist and horse lover who has lobbied Congress to ban the slaughter of horses in the US.
