The voice of Bareilles, from Eureka in California, is an engagingly natural gift placing her somewhere between Fiona Apple and Nelly Furtado. She must also be the first artist to include a song about Vegas and another called 'Morningside' on the same album.

'Love On The Rocks' runs excitingly on keyboard power, but Bareilles sounds more comfortable on slower material like 'Gravity'.

She is already a big breakthrough act in her native US. This is quality pop with the promise to deliver an even bigger audience.
