Santa flies in for opening

SANTA Claus will fly into a Midlothian garden centre this weekend to celebrate the opening of his grotto.
Santa will arrive at Dobbies Garden World, Melville Nursery, Lasswade, by helicopter on Sunday at 11am.

Carol singers from Lasswade Primary School choir will be waiting to welcome Santa.

Visitors can enjoy free pony rides and face painting.

Is it not odd that Santa chooses to fly by helicopter rather than sleigh? Will 'Santa' be wearing a traditional white shellsuit set off with a Burberry-pattern baseball cap? Dobbies is clearly a place to avoid!
