Pupils to join obesity talks

SCHOOL pupils are to be guests of honour at a conference on the health impacts of obesity.
Researchers at Napier University invited youngsters to sit alongside experts in health and education at the Nutrition Society Scotland meeting.

The university's Dr Margaret Ritchie said: "I cannot stress how important this issue is, and it is great to have the opportunity to all sit down together and share ideas."

The youngsters will discuss food labels and their awareness of healthy eating at the two-day conference on Thursday and Friday.
