AN under-threat city primary school is having an open day next week.
Victoria Primary in Newhaven is celebrating Victoria Day by having a "fun afternoon" next Friday and offering tours of the school.

Former pupils will also have the chance to look through the school's log books, which date back to 1875.

The logs, which have been kept by generations of headteachers, document the daily life and activities of pupils and teachers at Victoria Primary over the years.
