GEORGE Lucas, the director of the Star Wars films, has praised Scotland's online education network, saying it puts America to shame.
Mr Lucas, appearing before the US Congress, described Scotland's digital intranet Glow as a shining example of how technology could boost education.

Glow is a £37.5 million project that aims to link pupils and teachers across Scotland with shared educational resources and improve communications between schools and parents.
