A MAN has died after falling from the roof of Edinburgh University's main library today.
The 32-year-old fell from the roof of the George Square library around 8am this morning.

He was rushed to the city's ERI but died of his injuries.

Parts of the library are currently clad in scaffolding as part of a five-year, £40 million renovation.

A police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances in the incident and they are in the process of informing the man's family.
