Going on the school walk
A MIDLOTHIAN school has launched a project to get its children to school on time.
Bonnyrigg Primary started the walking bus scheme which sees pupils walking in a group and making various stops on the way to school.
Cllr Russell Imrie, cabinet member for strategic services said: "Midlothian Council is actively encouraging as many children, parents and teachers as possible to try walking to school. Children enjoy being active and there are so many benefits."
