Festival slot for teacher's film
AN Edinburgh teacher is set to have her short film idea premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, after being announced as the winner of a national competition.
Margherita Still, 39, was one of the three winners of this year's Scotland's Got Film Talent competition to find new scriptwriters.
The teacher drew on childhood memories for her script Milk Girl, which follows the journey of a three-year-old girl to womanhood as seen through the eyes of a neighbour. The three-minute film will now be shot by a professional director and will be shown at this year's Film Festival.
