Capital pupils shine in Euro quiz challenge

A CITY school has come out on top of a nationwide competition to test pupils' knowledge of European affairs.
The primary six pupils from Edinburgh Academy battled 24 other schools from across the country to win the title of the Euroquiz contest.

The team's mentor, Colin McCloghry, said: "The boys worked really hard to gain the knowledge necessary to get to this stage.

"They have surprised me at times at how dedicated they are."
