EDINBURGH scientists have discovered rival species of butterfly which have stopped trying to drive each other out of their habitats in order to fight off their common predators.
The discovery is the first evidence of natural rival species living alongside each other to survive. The researchers at the university studied the behaviour of several species in the Amazon jungle.
