A trip back in time for kids

THE National Trust for Scotland's Georgian House, which is next door to the First Minister's official residence Bute House, is running a summer activities programme.
Young visitors can step back in time with creative activities at one of Scotland's most prestigious addresses.
Property Manager Sheonagh Martin said: "In Georgian times, children were expected to be seen and not heard. But we hope to hear lots of laughter in the Georgian House this summer as young visitors get dressed up in mob caps and cravats and get a glimpse of what life was like in the Georgian era."
