£1700 boost for disabled teen

A CAMPAIGN to send a severely disabled teenager to college has received a boost after a £1700 donation.
Finola Forman, 16, suffers from cerebral palsy and needs 24-hour care for her every need.
The Leith teenager's parents need to raise £150,000 by 2010 to send her to a college for people with special needs.
The money was donated by the Bringing Dreams to Reality initiative run by technology firm Gore and Associates. Finola was nominated by her relative Nicky Smith, in a bid to assist the campaign run by her parents.
She said: "I admire Finola for who she has become and who she will mature and strengthen into given the right opportunities.
"This donation will make a significant contribution towards making her dream a reality."
Finola hopes to attend a residential college, Portland College in Nottingham.
