Tattoo drums up award win

THE Edinburgh Military Tattoo has scooped a top tourism award – in Ireland.
The world-famous event is set to be recognised at the 18th annual CIE Tours International Awards of Excellence in a glittering reception at Dublin Castle.

The awards are based on the feedback of holidaymakers, with the Tattoo scoring top points.

A Tattoo spokesman said: "To be among organisations who have received this wonderful seal of approval is testament to the Tattoo's continued commitment to outstanding performances."
