A COPY of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, signed by author JK Rowling, will be among the items going under the hammer at a charity auction tomorrow.
The last instalment of the boy wizard's adventures will be one of the lots at a fundraiser taking place at Napier University's Merchiston campus.
All the money raised will be used to provide much-needed medical equipment for the Clinic of Hope in Equatorial Guinea.
The university's Monica Gribben said: "The Clinic of Hope deals with between 15 and 50 patients per day suffering from conditions including typhoid fever, malaria and diabetes, and it is desperately short of supplies for its patients.
"We want to give a helping hand and are hoping this event will make a real difference to the clinic and its patients.
"Our fundraiser is already attracting a considerable amount of interest thanks to the book kindly donated by JK Rowling, and I would like to thank her and everyone else who contributed donations in advance of the event."
