Father banned for mini-bike jaunt

A FATHER has been banned from driving for 18 months after being caught three times over the limit – on his son's mini-motorbike.
George Thomson, 34, was spotted swerving in and out of traffic on the busy Lauder Road in Dalkeith.

Isn't it amazing that people who under normal circumstances wouldn't be seen dead on a mini-moto are champing at the bit to ride them around whilst drunk?

Even I've been guilty of it once. Not on the public road though---and not for long either because I rode it onto a lawn and then fell off. Oh well, back to the bar.
