Queen cuts ribbon on 'greenest campus in UK'

THE Queen was today officially opening a new university campus which claims to be the greenest in the UK.
The Queen Margaret University campus, just outside Musselburgh, has been operating for almost a year but will get its official unveiling today.
The university says the award-winning campus is the most environmentally friendly in the country. The Queen was being shown round the building before unveiling a plaque in the foyer and meeting staff and students.
The university's principal and vice chancellor Professor Anthony Cohen said: "Today will be remembered with pride by the entire university community.
"Craighall provides first-rate, purpose-built facilities – including those for learning and teaching, research, clinics, conferences, sport and leisure – to staff and students, and to the people of East Lothian and Edinburgh."
