Old engines get revved up

MORE than 80 classic motorcycles and lorries are set to go on show at a historic country home in East Lothian.
Lennoxlove House will play host to the Scottish Association of Vehicle Enthusiasts' Wheels of Yesteryear event later this month.

The Haddington house will provide a fitting backdrop for antique vehicles such as a 1937 Leyland Hippo lorry.

General manager Kenneth Buchanan said: "We are delighted to welcome Wheels of Yesteryear to Lennoxlove House.

"It is also a great opportunity for the public to come to Lennoxlove House and enjoy a great day out.

"This is the third Wheels of Yesteryear event we have hosted and it always draws hundreds of picnickers looking for something different."

The event takes place on Sunday, July 20, from 1pm.
