Horse trainer set for TV slot

A HADDINGTON horse trainer who helps former racehorses have a fulfilling life after their career comes to an end is set to be featured in a BBC documentary.
Karon Carson, of Redcliff Stables, Whittingehame, was selected as the focal point of the forthcoming Landward programme.

Ms Carson, who runs Fyrish Equestrian Services, said: "Every horse deserves the chance to lead a full and active life and our members do their best to help them get a fresh start."

The programme is due to be screened next month.
