And who thought that up? And for what purpose? And it's gonna benefit who? Another brilliant idea from ELC. Probably goint to start charging for parking at the beach or something equally stupid!!!

ELC prove yet again that they are the 'uncaring' council. They don't give a sh** about people, it's all about balancing books.

Wrong , its about fillin their own pocket wi the publics money, do ye ever wonder how the cooncil ever get any work done ? they have a million vans drivin aboot at any given time o the day or night, even a painter gets a van, now, if they spend all day drivin te tescos for their messages or takin the wife te the dentist how can they do any work? Ive never seen so many lazy useless workers in my life! I hate the cooncil and the folk who work there! My mum had to leave her job in the cooncil cos she basicly got sick fed up tellin the public a load o sh.te on the phone. Sack the bastids

Hamburger Supper - glad its Tescos you work for and not ELC. Good of you to be waiting to serve me when I drive one of the 'million' vans into your establishement (on council time) to get my 'messages' before a take 'the wife te the dentist'. Ah but what about your nights out? Do you not know the council pays for all the staff to have a full day jolly at Christmas with 'flexi' to get the presents in? What's lazy about that?

Well Fergie, these are my experiences of the east lothian farcical council. Half my family worked there at one point and for good reasons they all left. its cos o these reasons and the stories i heard that i have a low opinion o the council. When ye see a council van at the side o the road wi 3 men in it, one of which is waterin plants on the roadside, ye have te ask yerself whats gon on, wheres yer taxes gon there?
