EAST Stirlingshire manager Jim McInally last night celebrated a signing coup with the capture of former Red Star Belgrade winger Balsa Krivokapic until the end of the season.
McInally is a friend of Balsa's father Miodrag, who has recently joined Gordon Strachan's backroom team at Celtic, as the pair played together at Dundee United.
McInally is delighted to have landed a player of such pedigree and is hoping the 19-ye
ar-old is able to adapt to life in the third division as he prepares to hand him his debut at Cowdenbeath today.
McInally said: "Balsa has only just recently arrived in Scotland, he has been at Red Star Belgrade so he obviously has pedigree.
"We have watched Balsa in training and we have been very impressed. We were lucky in some ways to get Balsa because I know his dad from my Dundee United days."
"He has shown up well in training but he is still a boy. It will be interesting to see how he copes with the third division because it can be very tough. He is technically very good and he brings something different so I am looking forward to seeing how he gets on."
The Firs Park manager is also delighted to see defender Craig Tully return to the side after a three game suspension for today's clash at Central Park.
Despite last week's victory over Elgin, McInally knows his side need to tighten up at the back, and McInally said: "The number of goals we have been losing from corners and free-kicks is a major concern and we have been working hard to put that right in training this week.
"Having Craig back will help as he adds a physical presence, and also talks players through a game."
Striker Brian Graham is also available after suspension.
