Two arrested in fraud case

A MAN and woman have been arrested in Burnley after Tayside Police appealled to the public for help tracing a couple in connection with more than a dozen alleged frauds in Scotland and England.
On Thursday the force revealed that warrants had been issued for the arrest of William Stewart, 48, and Sandra Hollis, 45, both from Dundee. They were arrested in Burnley the same day.
The alleged offences involved cheques being passed off as genuine in payment for goods and services.
