Tayside has new Chief Constable

KEVIN Mathieson, 48, was announced yesterday as the new Chief Constable of Tayside.
His predecessor, John Vine, is leaving to take up a post as Chief Inspector of the UK Border Agency.
Mr Mathieson joined Grampian Police in 1976, becoming a regular constable two years later. He was made Deputy Chief Constable of Tayside in February 2007.
