TAYSIDE Police officers were yesterday continuing their investigation into the "sudden and unexplained" death of a four-week-old boy in Dundee.
The child is understood to have been one of twin boys born prematurely at the city's Ninewells Hospital. The investigation began after emergency services were called to a flat in the Charleston area shortly after 3am yesterday. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the boy was declared dead at the scene.

A Tayside Police spokesman said: "Inquiries are at an early stage and his death is being treated as unexplained."
