Five in hospital after flat fire

FIVE people were hospitalised after a blaze broke out in a Dundee flat in the early hours of yesterday.
The fire, in the city's Milnbank Road, started just after 5am. Five people from the third-floor flat were taken to nearby Ninewells Hospital.

Crews from three fire appliances battled the blaze for several hours. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
