A DRUNK ended up in hospital for two days after he picked a fight with the wrong man, a court heard yesterday.
Christopher Walker, 21, taunted the man to hit him, and boxing coach Alexander McKelvie, 23, duly obliged, with a punch which broke his jaw. At the High Court in Edinburgh, a judge was shown CCTV footage of the contest in a shop, where Mr McKelvie had been buying baby-wipes and nappies.

Lord Brailsford told Walker: "I would say you were very foolish in who you picked to assault."

Walker, of Dundee, was jailed for three years after he admitted attacking Mr McKelvie on 22 December last year.

You're on the wrong site for that, doll-face! Try xxxblackbook for all that!

The drunk picked a fight with 'a boxer', not 'the box' !! :-)

The sleepy wee webnovice up at the Scottie is not doing his job right!

You would think The Scottie would have an auto-filter to catch stuff like Post #1. Factual, yet totally irrelevant to the subject, it has, however, made me smile, given how long it's been up there!

And, Miss H: I somehow doubt that you actually ARE a 'Miss' in the true sense! Were your hormones bothering you at the back of two this morning?? ;-)

That makes me laugh!

Not only did he pick a fight with a boxer and lost, he also got jailed for his trouble.

Great!

Always remember that if a man picks a fight out of the blue he does not know the first lesson in picking a fight.
Perhaps I could get in touch with number one to get my Polyps removed.

It's now 1144, and that post at #1 is still there.

I am at a loss to understand the modus operandi of the Hootsmon (Pravda Branch) and the Hootsmon (Xinhua Branch) Censors. I can only assume that they were all at the pub last night, and haven't made it into work this morning.

#1 was about what Julian Clary said he'd been doing to Norman Lamont, had nothing at all to do with the topic, but was very informative and factual.

How disappointing. On reading the headline I visibly brightened at the prospect of learning how a mutt ripped off a drunken ned's testicles. ;-((
