BBC man's degree 'hard to take in'
THE BBC journalist Alan Johnston yesterday described being honoured by his former university less than a year after his release from captivity in the Middle East as "almost too hard to take in".
Johnston, who was held hostage in Gaza for nearly four months, was speaking on his return to Dundee University to be awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.
