ONE of the two funds established to help the bereaved family of murder victim Jolanta Bledaite has already raised £8,000, it emerged yesterday.
The Jolanta Fund was set up earlier this week by Ruth Leslie Melville, the Provost of Angus, and Bob Myles, the leader of Angus Council.

A separate fund for the family of the Lithuanian migrant worker, whose severed head was found on an Arbroath beach, has been established by Sue Smith, a leading campaigner for migrant workers' rights.

Earlier this week, two Lithuanian men – Vitas Plytnykas, 40, and Aleksandras Skirda, 19 – appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court charged with the murder of Ms Bledaite, 35. They are due back in court on Tuesday.
