Drug seizures worth £1.5m

GRAMPIAN Police have already seized almost the same value of illegal drugs in the first four months of the year as the force recovered in the whole of 2007, it was revealed yesterday.
Last year the North-east force recovered controlled drugs with a total street value of £1.6 million. The latest seizure of crack cocaine and heroin in Aberdeen on Tuesday, with a street value of £46,000, has brought this year's total to £1.5 million.
