COMEDIAN Craig Hill yesterday joined Highland dancers, pipers and heavy athletes to launch InvernessFest, a two-week celebration of traditional and contemporary Highland culture.
The event, which will run from 15-29 July, includes the RBS Inverness Highland Tattoo, World Highland Games Heavy Championships, the European Pipe Band Championships, a concert by Sir Elton John and the CITYJAM music festival.

This year is designated the Year of Highland Culture.
