LABOUR MPs have warned government ministers that a Tory victory at the next General Election could pave the way for an independent Scotland, if voters north of the border turn to the SNP as a bulwark against a David Cameron administration in London. Certainly, on the current polls, a Conservative government is more than possible. But would Mr Cameron really behave towards Scotland with the same insouciance as Mrs Thatcher?

The indigenous Tory Party has had 10 years to publically state that the Scotland Act is now the status quo?

We are still waiting for this categorical assurance?

You will find almost no reference to Devolution in the Scots party publications, manifesto, or policies?
Devolution is the word the Scots Tories dare not say!

IF, the indigenous Tory Party actually believes that the Scottish Electorate is about to rush out and vote for it in large numbers then it is still stuck in a
1950's timewarp?

As for leadership? The present incumbent is only in office because the previous Leader had no option but
to resign after it was discovered that he had misused parliamentary expenses to circumnavigate Scotland in a fleet of taxis!
