'AN ACT or instance of leading; guidance; direction" – that's how the dictionary describes leadership. By any objective measure, there has been absolutely no leadership from the top of the Labour Party over the past ten days as it has fallen apart over the referendum issue.
But the fault has not been Wendy Alexander's – she has handled the whole process in a haphazard and calamitous way, but at least she has shown some, limited, leadership. The real blame for the lack of leadership lies squarely with Gordon Brown.

Ms...

Poor Hamish is heart broken, he's beloved Bendy and Broon have show their true colours, and they have cheated on you.

Beware of the fury of a scorned journalist lover.

My heart goes to you, the suffering got to be abrasive.
Don't you worry too much, you'll find a replacement for you unrequited love.

Hamish, your nerve never hesitates to astound me. Give it a rest.

Enough, for pity's sake. No more journalistic essays on the subject of this sad little tale of how one hand didn't know what the other hand was doing and tripped over its two left feet.

The pied piper has passed through the town, and the children have been led astray.

Time to move on to the next chapter: What Wendy Did Next.

Poor Hamish indeed. Here is a man who has invested heavily in Wendy Alexander's leadership in the hope that she would smite Wee Eck with one mighty blow.

Well she has been blowing all right, puffing and havering to all and sundry. This is a woman who has broken the criminal law, misled parliament, lied on television, goes through spin doctors like a speed-dater, is reviled by her own party and is considered a laughing stock by the electorate..........and Hamish blames Gordon Brown.

Hamish you are a fool.

Thank you for your oblique view of Wendy's referendum collapse. She was ambushed in the forum of our Parliament and didn't have the nouse to back down. This is true to form - she was truly awful as a junior minister alienating the Civil Service with stupid demands.

Wendy and Cherie Blair will make good mates in their Carribean hide out. Not sure Douglas Alexander is long for this World either.

The Labour Party which I support has no place for such self seeking persona.
