Shuttle hit by second delay BAD weather forced Nasa to postpone the launch of the space shuttle Discovery yesterday for the second consecutive day, with the next launch attempt set for tomorrow.

Date set for shuttle launch NASA has set July 13 as the launch date for Discovery, the first shuttle to go into space since the Columbia disaster in February 2003.

Shuttle faces two month delay NASA has delayed by two months the first space shuttle flight since the loss of seven astronauts in the Columbia disaster. The launch will be no earlier than 13 July. NASA said time was needed to ensure a fuel tank was safe.
