ALL the fuss over Daniel Radcliffe's nude scene in Equus made no sense to the celebrity crowd who came to watch the Harry Potter star, in the play's Broadway opening.
Kathleen Turner, who shed her clothes as Mrs Robinson in the stage version of The Graduate, said: "If it's in the play, if it's in the story, if it's necessary, then it's right."

Didn't we deal with this kind of thing in 1968 when "Hair" was on Broadway?

I think that maybe the Casale brothers, Reisman, Weber, and the Mothersbough brothers got it just about right...

He's what, 19 now? So what's the fuss? He's an actor being paid to do a job.

Mario Antoinette will take his clothes off for as little as half a pint, in Princes Street!

Mr. Radcliffe is a fully-formed adult now and the professional publicity photos I have seen of him do justice to himself and the play.

Besides, full nudity is intrinsic to the plot of "Equus"

So what is all the fuss about?

I think the play was "Old Calcutta" was the first one with full frontal nudity during the 60's.

Loved "Hair" though, great music.

#4,

You're right, but it was 'Oh Calcutta'. I saw the final performance of 'Hair' when it was in Sydney all those years ago and it was awesome :0)
