Flintoff escapes speeding charge

THE England cricketer Andrew Flintoff, 30, was yesterday acquitted of speeding at 87mph in a 50mph zone – because his prosecution notice had been sent two days late.
His lawyer was Nick Freeman, who is known as Mr Loophole.

I don't care how late. He still should not have been acquitted. It just looks like yet another "famous person" got off with it!

Good luck to him.

I know I am guessing here but the chances are that this was one of the many un-neccessary 50mph zones set up for the sole purpose of generating revenue.

Boy Wonder:

the law says that a notice of intended prosecution must be served within 14 days. If this is not complied with, the notice is invalid. That is the law. If the tax collectors cannot be bothered to comply with it then tough. Let them get proper jobs rather than hassling people and badgering them for money.
