Carlyle is tipped for the Tardis

ROBERT Carlyle is being tipped to replace David Tennant as the next Doctor Who.
William Hill is offering odds of 2-1 he will become the 11th time lord when Tennant steps down. Speculation is rife that Tennant will quit before the start of the fifth series in 2010.

Good morning, Horrible Cankers.

Robert Carlyle is one of Scotland's treasures on the state and in movies.

I think his limitless talent will enable him to be a superb Dr. Who.

Now if they could only work some kind of plot where Carlyle is have a "special friendship" with Ewan McGregor. That would make for true plot development and make Dr. Who VERY easy on the eyes.

Well hello Timothy Charles...the good Doctor must remain sexless...he is after all alien and unobtainable...and a bit doolally...he can be allowed to be sexy in an eccentric type of way but any Hankie Pankie will destroy the enigma that is Dr Who?.....

But then again...Robert Carlyle could always do the 'Full Monty' once inside the Tardis and we could all have a good gawp.....maybe Dr Who's human shape had one or two 'large' mistakes due to his being modelled on the centre pages of 'Playgirl'....mmmh yes indeed...why not...
