Britney Spears lawyer asks for trial delay

BRITNEY SPEARS' lawyer has asked a judge to delay the troubled singer's trial for driving without a valid licence.
Michael Flanagan has filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking a stay in the criminal case and also wants an appeal judge to order the judge overseeing the case to grant Spears' motion to dismiss the case.
