EDINBURGH dancer Dennis McHugh has been booted off Big Brother for spitting in another contestant's face.
Twenty-three-year-old Dennis has become the second housemate to be removed from the house after spitting in the face of Somalian-born Mohamed.

The row, involving several housemates, began in the early hours of this morning following a prank played
by Rex.

During the argument, Dennis, from Liberton, spat in toy demonstrator Mohamed's face.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: "Spitting in someone's face is seriously offensive and Mohamed was understandably upset.

"Big Brother has very clear rules about offensive behaviour.

"Like all housemates Dennis was clearly informed before entering the house that he faced eviction if he acted in an unacceptable manner."

His removal comes after contestant Alexandra De-Gale was booted off the Channel 4 show after allegedly threatening housemates with punishment from "gangster friends".

As a result of her being kicked out, the second eviction of the ninth series was cancelled.

Tonight's eviction vote, involving Mohamed and Sylvia, who is favourite to leave, has not been called off.

A spokeswoman said Dennis was called to the Diary Room and told he was immediately being removed from the house after production staff and Channel 4 executives reviewed footage.

Other housemates involved in the row were also being called to the Diary Room to "remind them of the rules governing housemates' behaviour".

All the housemates involved in the argument had been sent to separate bedrooms and kept apart for the night.
