A MYSTERY big cat is on the prowl in the north-east of Scotland, according to police.
Special Constable Thomas Jennings, 24, came face to face in the dark with the 5ft-long black animal after he was called to clear cattle from the A944 Whitehouse to Alford road.

When oh when are they going to realise that Scotland has a large and nocturnal species of cat, and has had for centuries?

All those big cat stories from all over Britain, shows how far it has spread.

Stop treating it like a pink elephant story.

You'll have us thinking Nessie isn't real either next!

big cats have been seen here in Fife over the years. In fact, mouldings have been taken of their feet. As a keen runner I must admit I put in a spurt when goinf through heavily wooded areas not generally visited by the public as they are too secluded and away from roads.
